About

David Cánovas, known online as TheGrefg, is a Spanish gaming creator whose Fortnite outfit reveal set a Twitch audience record in January 2021.[1][2] He comes from Alhama de Murcia.[1] He began his YouTube channel in 2012 and later streamed on Twitch.[3]

A Fortnite record

The reveal reached 2,468,668 simultaneous viewers on 11 January 2021, as confirmed by Guinness World Records.[2] Epic Games scheduled the Icon Series set for the Item Shop on 16 January 2021. The set included a reactive outfit and a pickaxe styled as a game controller. Floor Is Lava tournaments scheduled for 14 and 15 January were to give players a chance to win items before release.[4] Ibai surpassed his audience record with La Velada del Año 2 in June 2022.[1][5]

The ESLAND Awards

TheGrefg founded the ESLAND Awards to recognize streaming in Spain, Latin America and Andorra. He hosted the first ceremony at Barcelona's Palau de la Música in January 2022 and broadcast it on his Twitch channel. Winners were selected using votes from creators and Twitch viewers.[6]

Outside his own channels, he appeared in Top Gamers Academy with Rubius and Willyrex in 2020.[1][7]
