About

Timothy Betar streams as TimTheTatman, an American creator whose games have included Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Overwatch, Fortnite and World of Warcraft. He joined YouTube in January 2011, began broadcasting on Twitch in 2012 and became a full-time creator in March 2014.[1]

At the Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am during E3 2018, he teamed up with actor and musician Mack Wilds.[1][2] That year he raised more than $106,000 for charity in four hours at GuardianCon and won Fan Favorite Male Streamer/Gamer of the Year at the Gamers' Choice Awards.[1]

YouTube and Complexity

In September 2021, Betar announced an exclusive streaming agreement with YouTube and joined Complexity as a content creator and part-owner.[1] The organization's announcement described plans for merchandise and collaborations and pointed to his longstanding support for the Dallas Cowboys, whose connection to Complexity was part of the appeal of joining.[3]

He returned to Twitch on September 1, 2024, after his YouTube exclusivity ended.[4][1]
