About

Faheem Rashad Najm, known as T-Pain, is an American singer and rapper who uses Auto-Tune to create an electronic vocal sound. His debut album Rappa Ternt Sanga came out in 2005. The Billboard 200 number-one album Epiphany followed in 2007.[1] He has won two Grammy Awards.[2]

He sang without Auto-Tune as the Monster on television and won the first season of The Masked Singer in 2019.[3][1]

Nappy Boy Gaming

T-Pain began broadcasting on Twitch in 2014 and later created the organization Nappy Boy Gaming. Its membership rule emphasizes being a good person over being good at games.[4]

In a 2021 TechRadar interview, he explained that travelling with a PS4 and Xbox had become cumbersome. He had switched to three laptops for making music, DJing and playing games. Streaming also let listeners get to know him outside his music: he said fans arriving from his recordings were surprised by his personality on stream.[5]
