About
Vete a la Versh creator Roberto Alatriz, known as Darkar, built his animated comedy around the characters Darkar and Mecoboy. The series became popular in 2009.[1]
Making Vete a la Versh
Darkar provides almost all the voices, except for the crying girl and a few incidental characters. His Twitch About page describes a team of six artists working with Adobe Animate CC.[2]
He had uploaded his first animation to Newgrounds in October 2005. His earlier projects included Otro Fin de Semana in Spanish and Chronicles of a Demon in English.[3] He studied animation and visual effects at New Mexico State University.[2]
Balance Universal
Alatriz also made music with Emmanuel Romero, the series scriptwriter known as Ryuget, under the Vete a la Versh name. By November 2017, they had released their first single, Vete a la Versh, ahead of their planned debut album, Balance Universal. Molotov drummer and vocalist Randy Ebright produced the album.[4]
