About

Zarbex is a German creator who won best newcomer at the 2024 Stream Awards.[1][2][3] He is known publicly by the first name Maik. His work includes gaming and reaction broadcasts as well as streams from his travels.[1][2] He also shared the viewer interaction award with Ronny Berger.[3]

He started making Minecraft videos under the Zarbex name in 2012. He trained as a media designer for image and sound in 2016 and worked on material for Sat.1 and RTL. After moving into his own apartment in Kiel in 2019, he began streaming regularly on Twitch. His mother encouraged him to try streaming full time that year, and he followed her advice.[4]

Travels with Schradin and MontanaBlack

Zarbex and Max Schradin broadcast trips together under the name Schrabex, coined by their viewers. They travelled to the North Sea in a camper in 2025. Zarbex also joined MontanaBlack on a scooter trip along the French Riviera in August that year, including Nice.[1]
