About
Before streaming as zubarefff, Alexander Zubarev worked as a dancer and choreographer. He was born in Donetsk in 1987, toured Europe with a dance ensemble and staged performances at the Donbass Arena before moving to China for work in 2015.[1]
From dance work to live commentary
Zubarev opened a TikTok account in 2021 after friends encouraged him to post comic videos. His material included dumpling tastings, technology unboxings and conversations filmed on Chinese streets. He continued teaching dance alongside his growing online work.[1]
bratishkinoff helped him make the move to Twitch, where they appeared in joint broadcasts. His streams include chatting with viewers, playing games, watching films and reacting to videos.[1] In 2025, Zubarev appeared with Evelone in an episode of the interview show Vpiska.[2] In a November 2025 report, Lenta.ru quoted his conversation with Eldar Dzharakhov: he had no fixed residence and was moving between Dubai and Kazakhstan after living in China.[3]
