About

Patriota is a gaming creator whose Garoto Dinâmico character inspired Fortnite's Passinho Dinâmico emote.[1][2] It made him the first Brazilian creator with a dance emote in the game in April 2020, as part of the Icon Series.[1] In October 2021, he selected existing cosmetics for Patriota's Locker Bundle.[3]

YouTube and Fortnite

Kim Nigro, known online as Patriota, left a job supplying hospital materials with his family in 2015 to concentrate on YouTube for a year.[4][5] He also studied law before switching to business administration, which he put on hold as his channel grew. His gaming name came from the 2000 Mel Gibson film The Patriot; before that, he had used Trevor.[5]

Overwatch brought viewers to his channel, followed by PUBG and Paladins. Although he initially preferred PUBG, alanzoka persuaded him to give Fortnite a try. He played against Ninja at E3 in 2018. In a 2020 interview, he said he wanted to play for entertainment and had declined approaches from esports organizations.[5]
