About
Tim MacRae, known as Timmac, is a Grand Theft Auto roleplay streamer.[1][2][3]
By October 2017, he was playing Shaggy Dankweed and the gangster Timmy Macapone on TheFamilyRP. He drew on his New York background for Timmy's accent.[1] His roleplay work also includes Enzo in Callous Row.
From IT to full-time streaming
An early roleplay encounter with LIRIK, in which he played a lawyer, brought thousands of viewers to his channel. For the next two and a half years, he worked in IT during the day and streamed after returning home.[1]
He left his system-administrator job in autumn 2016 to stream full time.[2][1]
Other appearances
He was announced alongside MitchJones for the Twitch charity poker invitational scheduled for November 17-18, 2017, in Las Vegas.[4]
He appeared on episode 97 of The Rascals Lounge Podcast, published on April 27, 2026. The episode covered memorable stream moments and his approach to managing an online community.[5]
