About

Gaules is Alexandre Borba Chiqueta, a Brazilian streamer who built his broadcasting career around Counter-Strike. He previously competed as a player and coached MIBR.[1]

From g3x to MIBR

He founded g3nerationX in 2001 and helped the team reach that year's World Cyber Games finals in Seoul. In 2007, the roster moved to MIBR, where he gave up his playing place to become the coach. MIBR won DreamHack Winter that year. He later worked at Samsung before returning to esports projects in 2010.[2]

The Tribo's broadcasts

He began broadcasting regularly on Twitch in 2018, and his audience became known as the Tribo. His programmes combined matches with conversations about viewers' lives.[3] In 2021, he secured a deal to broadcast official NBA games on Twitch.[4] That December, he announced the interview podcast Fenômenos with Ronaldo Nazário. Guests included Neymar and FalleN.[5][3]

By July 2025, he had added Kick to his Counter-Strike broadcasts with FISSURE Playground #1.[6] He also co-presided over G3X with Kelvin Oliveira when the team won the Kings World Cup Clubs in August 2026. G3X beat Alpak 9-5 in the final in Milan.[7]
