About
Marcus Hill, known as Dyrus, is a former professional League of Legends player who won three North American LCS titles with TSM.[1] He left professional play after TSM's final match at the 2015 World Championship and received a standing ovation from the crowd.[1] He later made Twitch streaming and YouTube videos his full-time work.[2]
From plumbing to TSM
After high school, Hill worked as an apprentice at his father's plumbing company.[3] He began playing League during its beta and started competing as a support for All or Nothing before joining Epik Gamer as a top laner.[1] He played for TSM from 2012 to 2015.[1] TSM also won the 2015 Intel Extreme Masters world finals in Katowice. They beat Team WE 3-0 in the final.[1]
At BlizzCon 2016, Dyrus reported on Overwatch and interviewed players.[2] He briefly returned to competitive League in June 2017 with Delta Fox, Echo Fox's North American Challenger Series team.[1][4] That roster brought him together with Voyboy, Scarra, imaqtpie and Shiphtur.[4]
