FlowPodcast

About

Flow Podcast is a Brazilian conversation show founded in 2018 by Monark, Igor 3K and Gianzão.^[1][2] Igor 3K hosts the show, and Gianzão directs it.^[3] Flow won the popular-vote Podcast award at iBest in 2020.^[4] Its interview with Lula on 18 October 2022 exceeded one million simultaneous viewers and set a channel record at the time.^[5]

Origins and format

The show began in Curitiba and moved production to São Paulo in May 2019 to bring in guests more often and reduce travel costs. Igor and Monark acknowledged The Joe Rogan Experience as an inspiration. In a 2021 account of the show, Exame described conversations without prepared questions or a fixed script.^[2]

In October 2021, iFood ended its sponsorship after Monark asked on Twitter whether having a racist opinion was a crime; the following month, Flow and iFood said they would continue occasional partnerships without sponsorship.^[6]

On 7 February 2022, Monark defended the existence of a Nazi party in Brazil during an episode; Flow dismissed him the next day and apologised, especially to the Jewish community.^[7][6] Monark apologised for his remarks, and sponsors including Fatal Model asked to end their contracts.^[7]

Interviews and other series

Before the Lula interview, the channel record was 573,000 simultaneous viewers for Jair Bolsonaro’s appearance in August 2022.^[5] Flow placed in the academy-vote top three for Videocast at iBest in 2025.^[8] It broadcast a presidential debate featuring Cury, Caiado and Zema in 2026.^[9]

The main channel carries Flow News and Reflexões, a series made with Tinocando TV. In Executive Talks, Igor speaks with company executives.^[9]
